About the Maker: Helen Round create beautifully hand-made products using ethically sourced materials and traditional techniques, designed to help people live more sustainably. The brand began in 2012 at Helen’s kitchen table, born from a desire to move away from disposable consumerism and create timeless, long-lasting pieces for the home. Today, the business has grown into a dedicated team of ten, all united by the same purpose.
Inspired by Helen’s background in fine art textiles, a love of fabrics, and printmaking, their designs are known for their gentle simplicity - reflected not only in the products themselves, but also in the materials chosen and the way they work.
Sustainability sits at the heart of everything they do. They primarily use European-sourced linen and bamboo, materials chosen for their durability, low environmental impact, and longevity. Their linen is Oeko-Tex® certified, ensuring high environmental and safety standards, while their bamboo is a highly renewable resource that regenerates quickly with minimal waste.
Helen Round are committed to minimising waste at every stage of production, reusing offcuts in other products and creative collaborations, and continually working to reduce their carbon footprint. With initiatives such as solar-powered printing, responsible sourcing, thoughtful packaging, and a clear focus on renewable energy, they are steadily working towards a net-zero future, creating products that are made to last, and made with care for the planet.
